subject: Captain Chris Speaks Out Against Alleged Close Combat Training Scam [print this page]

Chris Pizzo got into the business of self defense because he had his own personal brush with death and wanted to help other people avoid that dreaded fate. He certainly did not get into it to scam anyone.

That is the message that Pizzo is getting out to the public after there were customer complaints regarding trial and attached memberships that were intertwined as a promotion for vitamin supplements.

Captain Chris has taken personal control over the situation and changes to the membership options have been made. Customers who sign up for Close Combat Training will no longer receive a free month of nutritional supplements.

This close combat training scam has brought a lot of unnecessary attention to Pizzo, the founder of the widely successful self defense training system. Having been in the business of helping people defend themselves against violent criminals for many years, Pizzo has built up a wonderful reputation in the industry. He holds his clients in a very high regard and certainly does not wish for anyone to receive false information.

Although many clients were happy to receive the free month of nutritional supplements, Captain Chris says that it isnt worth losing the confidence of other customers over this confusion.

"We would rather no longer offer the free trial than have unhappy customers who then choose to miss out on being able to protect their families through our training. The customer's life and family is more important to us than that," explains Chris Pizzo.

This close combat training scam has certainly been an eye-opener for the company. Although they made every effort to keep their customers aware of the promotion, some were certainly caught off guard. And they place the customers happiness and safety first and foremost on their list of priorities, which is why they have decided to pull the promotion completely.

With this all now in the past, Chris can get back to doing what is important to him: helping you protect yourself. But before you learn all the amazing techniques and strategies that Pizzo will teach you, you have a few things to do on your own. Being aware of your surroundings is the single most important thing you can do to protect yourself from predators.

If you are walking down the street with your music blaring while texting on your cell phone, you are basically asking to be the victim of violent crime. If you are out in public, it is important to have all of your attention focused on your surroundings. You never know when a convicted armed robber has been let out of prison, or if a meth-addled man is on the search for his next fix.

So before you go ahead and start learning all of these new martial arts techniques, try to become more aware of the world around you. Although not all crime can be avoided, there are many scenarios that can be with proper visual and audio awareness. Of course listening to music can make your jog seem to go faster, but it leaves you incredibly vulnerable.

Captain Chris and his team can certainly teach you how to defend yourself in instances of violent crime, but you are the only one who can prevent them from happening.
