subject: Tip 6 For Parents And Children Entertainers To Deal With Kids At Kids Parties Health And Safety [print this page]

I sometimes do Pirate Parties for childrens birthday parties. This is generally speaking a variation on the princess parties and clown parties I do. They are usually full of boys dressed up as pirates and can be as scary a sight for the childrens entertainer as the real thing! I advise parents to decommission the weapons as the guests enter the house. Even though the swords are generally plastic and not sharp, collecting the weapons at the beginning of Birthday Parties for Kids is a good idea as a wollop from one of them could prove quite sore not to mention dangerous. They will be given balloon swords anyway with which they can wollop the life out of each other without doing any damage.

Childrens party entertainers are very thankful for parents who decommission at the beginning of kids pirate parties. Also, kids party entertainers love it when parents stay in the room as it can reassure the kids especially those kids who are afraid of the childrens clown. It is usually not so important for the princess birthday party as the childrens entertainer is dressed as a princess as is not so scary for most. Sometimes however, when parents stay in the room, they talk to each other in loud voices while the childrens party entertainers are entertaining. The entertainer then has to raise their voice and the general level of noise goes up which makes it very difficult for kids to focus or to hear. So I would ask parents to by all means come and watch the entertainment and to keep their voices to a whisper.
