subject: Can't Think Of A Gift for His Only Son's Birthday [print this page]

A Real Estate Developer friend of mine who's only son was about to celebrate

his 19th Birthday in a week time. The Mother was very busy for the preparation

of the Birthday celebration of her only Son which will be celebrated at their

own Home in one of the Exclusive subdivision in the Manila. The Couple have only

two children, One Boy and a Girl. The Girl is the youngest of the two which is

17 yrs. old.

On the day of the Birthday Celebration, Lot of friends were attending the Party

Including the special Guest of their Son which is the Girl Friend to be. The Lady

had a promise to their son that on the day of his Birthday, The Lady will accept

the proposal. Upon the arrival of the Lady at She was fetch from her Car by the

Celebrant. Right there she told the Celebrant, I accept your proposal and I'm now

your Sweetheart.

The Father arrived just in time when they are about to eat in the Long Table bringing

a good news to His Only son who was Celebrating his 19th Birthday. The Father hand over

the Car Key to his Son an told his Son, I could not think of any Gift for your Birthday

except this slightly used Car. The Son responded, Dad, never mind, My old car still

perfoming well. His Son introduced his Sweetheart to his Parents saying This is Carol

my Sweetheart. The Lady was welcome by the parents.

Few minutes later the Celebrant approach his Parents and told them, Dad & Mom, I would

like to request to replace your Birthday Gift to, instead of a slightly used Car, I

want a Diamond Engament Ring for both of Us, Carol and Me. The parents approved

immediately the request. The following day, the entire family and Carol went to a very

expensive Jewelry shop in Manila to look for a Diamond Engagement Ring.Since that was

the only time the whole Family went to shopping Mall, They end up buying Diamonds for

every one. This is the way how they express Love to their Children..

Thanks for your Time,
