The moment I knew I needed parental internet monitoring software was a few months ago when my 8 year old came up to me and said that he had done a search online for "webcams." Webcams?!? I about hit the floor!

But that is exactly when I knew we needed parental internet monitoring software installed on our home computers because my fear was that he was going to inadvertently stumble across something online that could literally scar him for life. At that tender, impressionable age, the consequences could be pretty drastic.
And before long, I know that he and his siblings will want to get on a social media site like Myspace or Facebook. This is where it can get even scarier - how many times do you see on the news that the police have arrested an online sexual predator for soliciting sex from a young child in a chat room? It happens literally every day, and I don't know about you, but it scares the death out of me.
So, if anything, get a good parental internet monitoring software to protect your children from the dangers lurking online. At some point, your child will get online and go to sites you don't want them to go to, that's a fact.
