Covert hypnosis is a skill anyone can learn. Covert hypnosis is the ability to hypnotize people without them knowing it. You shouldn't use this to do bad deeds. Covert hypnosis the ability to subtly communicate with another person's subconscious mind without them noticing. As it often takes place in the course of this seemingly regular conversation, it is also known as conversational hypnosis. The object is to change the intended behavior. A salesperson, for example telling a client how good she will feel buying the new product. An intentional use of carefully selected words, body language, intentional gesturing it seems commonplace pointing and certain direction and facial expressions(a frown to the buyer to convey the unspoken opinion that she is making a mistake ) in order to covertly communicate with someone subconscious mind. The final objective to have the person make their own decision to change their mind. It's a form of hypnosis attempting to achieve near psychic states in the listener. In covert hypnosis the subject is unaware that the hypnotist is either a hypnotist or hypnotizing them, or that anything out of the ordinary is occurring. Covert hypnosis is a phenomenon not too different from indirect hypnosis, but the defining feature is certainly the act of an individual subject becoming hypnotized and taking part in hypnotic phenomenon without conscious effort/choice -- covert hypnosis operates through covert and subtle means. One of the important factors in covert hypnosis is anchoring and rapport. Rapport basically means increased unconscious responsiveness. It means that if two people are in Rapport one gets excited, the other gets excited too. They are unconsciously linked, they tend to synchronize not only their state of mind that their bodies to (mirroring). To show how this works take for example the car salesman. The car salesman is taught, by using hypnotic language patterns, how to extract information from the unsuspecting purchaser, even though he does not want to tell the salesman his real intentions. When the salesman helpfully asks what is important to you in buying a new car he learns exactly how the purchaser will make his decision. The purchaser gives him explicit instructions on how to sell to him it's all so simple and the unsuspecting buyer finds himself trapped in the salesman's web.If you'd like more information on this subject, Stephen Peliari is a master hypnotist and has great information on this subject.About the Author:
