Jose R Perez is a recognized media executive and industry leader with nearly 20 years of experience in all areas of the entertainment industry, including content development, advertising, marketing, programming, publicity, and
television administration.
Perez was Senior Vice President of Entertainment and Programming Development for Univision Network before joining Mega TV, in charge of the creation and production of daytime and primetime shows including "Despierta America"; "Control" "Caliente"; "Fuera de Serie"; "El Super Blablazo"; "Estamos Unidos"; "A Millon"; and "Los Metiches," among others.
Perez also served as the Vice President of Daytime Programming at Telemundo Network Group, where he was responsible for supervising all of the network's daytime original programming including "Laura en America"; "Rocio"; "Caso
Cerrado"; "Mariana"; and "Nitido". He also worked on the development and production of Emilio Estefan's independent co-productions such as: "Voces of America"; "Frecuencia"; and a two-hour prime time music special "Tributo a los
Heroes."
