Hello, my name is Rod Morgan of The Anxiety Workshop.
We all experience anxiety in our lives when we are experiencing a new situation or new environment but people experiencing general anxiety disorder, or GAD, tend to feel anxious a great deal of the time. And also, their anxiety levels can become quite high.
We can look at dealing with this but, before we do that, let us perhaps take a look at one or two of the symptoms of general anxiety disorder. Here are some of the psychological symptoms which include things like -
- restlessness
- a sense of dread
- feeling on edge a lot of the time
- difficulty in concentrating
- irritability
- impatience
- and being easily distracted.
In this series of articles, we will also be looking at the physical symptoms of anxiety, what can cause it, how common it
is, what are some of the consequences and whether or not there is a cure.
