Observations show that more people are falling victim to all sorts of illnesses and disorders. These illnesses and disorders can disrupt and alter individual's lifestyles. World Health Organization conducted a research study that showed 80% of ailments are lifestyle altering.

The world has several cures for each illness and disorder. The most popular ones are therapies and drugs. Using drugs can be dangerous and they have diverse side effects.

There are natural ways of healing that are far less dangerous. Aromatherapy is an excellent natural way to heal. Aromatherapy uses natural essential oils to help heal the body.

The natural essential oils come from plants. They are extracted from the flowers, roots, seeds, and other various parts of the plant. Only a little of natural essential oils is needed because they are heavily concentrated. Specific essential oils have very specific purposes.

Essential oils are sold at most stores where natural products are sold. Top note, middle note, and base note are three categories for essential oils. The healing property of the essential oils determines which category they are in.

The first category, top note, contains oils like lemon oil, tea tree oil, basil, eucalyptus, and peppermint. These oils can be used in bath water, tonics, steam inhalation, and bug repellents and ointments. Top note oils are anti-viral and are great for treating skin disorders, headaches, common cold and flu, digestive disorders, and several more.

Middle note oils are generally used for muscle pain, depression, treatment of hair loss, and in massage therapies. They have a calming, relaxing, and energizing effect. Some examples of middle note oils are lavender, rosemary, nutmeg, and yarrow.

Base note oils are rich and relaxing, but they are expensive. They are worth the price because they treat scars, high blood pressure, intestinal infections, depression, cold, hemorrhoids, and several other things. Clove oil, cedarwood oil, ginger oil, myrrh oil, and sandalwood oil are some examples of base note oils.
