subject: Get More Traffic With Your Authority Internet Blog [print this page]

There are many reasons why blogs are a great thing for an authority. The first is that it gives you a perfect medium for showing people your knowledge of the niche.

You can make countless blog posts, write reviews for products and services etc. People get to see that you really know what you're talking about and that they should come back to your blog over and over again.

If you've monetized your blog properly, every time that someone visits, there is that chance of making money. You can have your followers come back to your blog over and over again by allowing them to sign up for a feed, that lets them know every time that you add more content to your blog. It is great because it conveniently allows people to follow and come back to your blog when there is new content.

I don't know about you, but I have a routine when I'm online. I usually check my main e-mail address, then log into Facebook, then log into my affiliate network, then visit certain blogs and I do this everyday, if not several times a day. If a person has a blog that I like, I will go to it over and over again. These blog owners get a chance at making money every time that I visit.

The whole idea is to build up an army of people who visit your blog over and over again. That is the whole reason for starting and maintaining a blog. Running a blog is not nearly as much work as people think, sure it takes some time to set it up and monetize it, etc., but once you get that setup, it isn't bad.

Even if you make a blog post everyday, which most people don't do. It probably takes a person ten to fifteen minutes to make the post, depending on the person, length and the research that goes into it. That isn't much work at all. If a person can't dedicate fifteen minutes a day to their online business, they better forget about making money online.

A blog allows you to promote products and services of your own and be an affiliate. A blog allows you to help build your mailing list and promote various other assets that you own. It is just a great asset to have. If you are looking for a good and easy to use cms than look at wordpress. It is pretty much the standard nowadays with plenty of free templates and thousands of plugins!
