subject: How To Develop Self Esteem - The 5 Revolutionary Secrets To Turbo Charge Your Success [print this page]

Building your self esteem can be something that is pretty hard especially if you have one that is very low. People get self esteem issues from the way they are raised. They may not have had parents that told them they looked good, or that they did something very well or even that they loved them. However, all is not lost. You can develop self esteem for yourself by learning five basic tips. It will take a lot of work, but it can be done. By taking advantage of these five tips, you can literally turn your life around.

1. The first tip is to figure out what your purpose is in life. To develop self esteem, you need to find out who you are. You need to know that you are a person who has goals in their life, and that you do have a purpose, and that you do have things in your life that you want to accomplish. Keeping a journal is very affective with this tip.

2. The second tip is to find your feeler. Find that one thing in life that makes you happy. Rather it be something material, a place, or an activity, you need to find it and encompass it within your life often.

3. The third tip is to put it in writing on a card. You would be really surprised at just how much a simple card can develop self esteem. Even if you do not have a business of your own, just writing on a card, your information and a positive trait that you have is a major confidence booster. The first one that you hand out will give you a feeling you thought you never had.

4. The fourth tip is to get moving. Sitting on your couch watching television all day does nothing for a person's self esteem. Take a walk to the park, go to the gym for a workout, or just walk up and down some stairs to get your blood going. Many people feel vigorous and alive after they have given their body some activity.

5. The fifth tip to develop self esteem is to focus on your strengths instead of your weaknesses. We all have weaknesses but we also have strengths that can improve those weaknesses just as long as you as we focus on the strengths.
