subject: Downers Grove Volkswagen News: New Beetle Sure To Make Driving A True Delight [print this page]

You knew it was coming, and now its backYou knew it was coming, and now its back. Im talking about the next generation Volkswagen Beetle, a model that I was hoping would go completely extinct. But this thing keeps turning up like a bad penny, and I cant help but wonder why VW continues to mar the rest of its lineup with this insect-looking eyesore. Okay, so it seems like I have some strong feelings against this car, but Im beginning to come around and Ill tell you why a little later. Im expecting I might end up visiting a Downers Grove Volkswagen dealer in my near future, if not to buy then just to give the new Beetle a test-drive and find out for myself.

Now, Im a huge fan of Volkswagen, especially as of late. The manufacturer seems to be piling innovation on top of innovation, kicking some serious tail in the realm of fuel efficiency, something that Downers Grove new Volkswagen Beetle dealers will tell you has always been the brands forte. The brand has been piling awards on top of awards and selling cars like hot cakes. My positive outlook for the new Beetle stems from some minor design changes that I hope turn out to be more major than they have been advertised. Reports claim that the roundness (for lack of a better term) is still intact, and the fat fender is still the usual feature. What is exciting for Downers Grove Volkswagen drivers like myself is the fact that the roofline will be less arched. I really, really think that the arched roofline was the most obnoxious part of the car and the new look could be instrumental in changing my mind.

Some new surface detailing is supposed to be another important extra feature. It will certainly break up the boring, plain expanses of pure sheet metal that lay like plains on the surface of the vehicle. For Downers Grove new Volkswagen Beetle dealers, these little extras could be the difference between adding me as a customer (or at least a proponent) and keeping me in my own little alienated corner. In the end, I know that the changes wont be significant enough for me to buy my own Beetle but, at least I wont have to shudder a little bit every time one comes by. Seriously, I think they may have developed the Bug Slug game to cause enough pain to get your mind off of the pain of seeing one of those things on the road. Ask a Downers Grove Volkswagen owner if you want an insider perspective.

Another big part of the new Beetle launch will (hopefully) be the improved interior, which VW claims will be a part of the new car. That wont be enough to make believers out of people like you and me, but it would be nice to know that Ill have a little legroom when I visit my Downers Grove Volkswagen new Beetle dealership to give the car a test-drive. Were also hoping to see the Jettas 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder engine and a possible hybrid option as engine choices.
