subject: Indianapolis Kia Dealer To Feature The New Forte Hatchback [print this page]

Kia has got to be doing something right, and it isnt just marketing. Ever seen a Kia commercial? See any difference between it and commercials from the rest of the market? The buzz around the new Kia line-up is not manufactured, although the product is and well. If you look at the auto industrys sales numbers from 2009, you get a truly appalling look at the economy and what the recession and shaky consumer confidence did to the car market. But lets not be too quick to blame everything on the economy, because there were still brands out there surviving, and one of them is a regular staple at your Indianapolis Kia dealer.

Impressive 2009 sales numbers aside, Kia is really doing a great job paving a way for itself as a slightly younger manufacturer pushing its way through all of the crap weve seen on the market over the last ten years. Even Indianapolis used car dealers agree that Kia is the brand with some of the best staying power. Innovative launches, including that of the Forte, have propelled Kia into the spotlight. In fact, the launch of the Forte wasnt just a consumer favorite; media sirens lit up and continue to light up every time the manufacturer announces another iteration of the model. And wouldnt you know it, that happens to be what we are here to talk about today and what Indianapolis Kia drivers are most excited about.

Early Aprils New York International Auto Show saw the announcement of a five-door hatchback as a new addition to the Forte lineup. For Indianapolis Kia dealers, the new hatchback Forte will be a direct competitor to the Mazda3, which is far less moderately priced. While it wont drop until later this year, Indianapolis used car drivers will be happy to find out that the new hatchback Forte will come with the choice of a 2.0-liter four cylinder or a 2.4-liter four cylinder the same options offered with the standard Forte sedans and the Forte Koup. Indianapolis Kia fans will also be happy to hear that these engines come coupled to the same automatic or manual transmissions.

This sweet new vehicle will also get paddle shifters that come with optional automatic and push button. Navigation should also be available as a new option. Experts expect that the newly available trim levels for the hatchback Forte will closely mirror those of the sedan. The only model that was made available to the public at the 2010 New York International Auto Show was not quite production ready, so we may have to wait until this car launches before we really know everything. There will, of course, be some more exterior updates, including some frontal revisions. Not surprisingly, the hatchback function will add some serious utility to an already fashionable and functional driving machine. For the most part, however, the new hatchback Forte will mimic much of the sedan and Koups features, which is probably not a bad thing considering the praise weve heard about those cars.
