subject: Panic Anxiety Attacks [print this page]

Panic anxiety attacks are experienced by people who are constantly under stress or that experience different psychical problems; this panic attacks occur mostly during night in stressed periods of time and during emotional periods that may cause the patient a higher level of predisposition to this kind of emotional manifestation.

Over time physicians tried to find an efficient way to treat the panic anxiety attacks; most of them recommend the pharmaceutical treatment, and consider that by administrating these drugs the patient will deal better with the high level of stress that can cause the panic attacks and in time the number of panic attacks that the patient experiences will decrease significantly.

However, the new age comes with a different opinion; the alternative medicine provides a different solution. Starting with herbal teas and medicines made strictly out of plants, hypnosis, meditation and other alternative treatments, the alternative medicine believes that we can find in nature the solutions of all medical problems, including the treatment of panic anxiety attacks.

The ways to prevent panic attacks differ from one person to the other. First of all you should find out what triggers the panic attacks; if you experience them in periods of high stress then you should try to avoid stress in your life and you can consider alternative therapies to do that, such as meditation or hypnosis. If the cause for your panic attacks is fear of different things, then you should try breathing techniques that can calm you and different teas that have the same calming effect. Regardless of the cause one thing that can be efficient in panic attacks is trying to regain control of yourself and stay calm no matter what.

Either way, dealing with panic anxiety attacks is very difficult and causes an emotional distress that can consume even the strongest persons. Discovering this problem is rather simple as the most common symptoms are the shortness of breath or he feeling that you can breath, dizziness, rising pulse, sweating and sometimes nausea. But these symptoms are not general, and each person can experience the panic attacks in different ways. The best thing is to consult a doctor to tell you what the treatment for you is and how you can prevent the panic anxiety attacks.
