subject: Developing Leadership Skills - Summarizing Requited Talents. [print this page]

Developing leadership talents can be a annoying experience. These talents are, for the most part, approach and mind set based. But if you're experiencing some of the same irritations time after time, there's probably a reason.

There are tons of places that you can go to collect information about the different qualities that outline a leader. I find it valuable to summarize what everybody else is announcing to make it simple for myself.

I could go forward and list a couple of the common qualities of a leader. I would like you to know that I'm going to hit you between the eyes before I am finished.

one. Vision : you've got to know what you are after. Having a clear vision is a line of attack that all successfull leaders use.

2. Keenness : you have to have a kinetic, and transmissive energy. Leadership is about giving passionately.

3. Patience : It is not cool to lose your cool. Every good leader is in general calm and collected. Think about those who you admire. Most of them are relaxed and collected. The good thing is, it just takes a little practice.

4. Delegate : You can't do it all and you know it.

five. Train : If you know that you can not do it all, you had better spread your wealth of information

There are likely another fifteen or 20 more could put up. It would make a great list, but that's not what I'm going to do. Today I am going to settle in on one duty that you must have as a leader.

You've got to have ORGANIZATION.
