subject: Using Your New Iphone Remote [print this page]

There are many new and exciting accessories available for all of the new gadgets and fun toys today, one of which is the iPhone remote control. So much has changed in the industry of electronics, and the age of the cell phone is at its peak for sure. These phones of course can do so much more than just connect people in a conversation. People can literally do hundreds of tasks and enjoy hundreds of activities with their phones. There are many people who use their phones as mp3 players, and when those people are on the go, their iPhone remote is one of the handiest pieces of equipment they can buy.

Did you know that there are ways to use your iPhone to turn on and off the lights in your home? You can even turn on a coffee pot remotely when it is properly hooked up to the network of the wiring system in your home for the phone. It sounds pretty amazing, and all of these things can be done with the iPhone and its remote! You can enable the remote control to access these and many other items in your home to control them. If you have infrared electronics in your home too, such as DVD players, stereo receivers, TVs and VCRs too, the possibilities for remote control are endless and of course are super convenient.

Probably the most common use for the iPhone remote control is when people are working out or are moving about the house, say if they were going from room to room all day cleaning. No one wants to go downstairs to where their iPhone is playing their tunes to have to change the song, change the play list or turn up the volume. So instead, they buy a remote control so that they can stay upstairs cleaning and control their mp3 player from there. How convenient is that? The best devices have a range of about 150 feet and can easily work through walls, through floors and even around corners.

Another popular use is during workouts, when people do not want to be jogging or walking and having to mess with their devices. They can keep the device in a pocket, in an arm band or even in a back pack (which many kids do) and they do not have to hold the device, risking dropping it or becoming distracted with it. These are just a few of the many capabilities that an iPhone remote control has that can make all of our lives more convenient and a lot easier.
