The "faith movement" provided new insights to so many spiritual and soulical powers; however, it went off course because that faith was not in the ONE. Who is this ONE? Well, let's begin by mentioning who (or what) this "one" IS NOT! Faith in faith always leads to a bad end! However, human faith and or religious faith are not much better- if at all. Richard Rohr writes, "What set us on the wrong path was making the object of religious faith IDEAS or DOCTRINES instead of a PERSON"! Bingo! Are Christians to have their faith in the God (Abba Father) of whom Jesus spoke? Our faith should not be a faith in dogma or doctrines. Our faith should not be in MORALITY, regardless of how appealing that sounds. Sounds too simple. How in the world did we go astray? Albert Einstein, the great scientist that he was, was a man of great faith as well as he is reported to have said, "The most beautiful thing that we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder, or stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. His eyes are closed." Unfortunately, much of the church in the West these days have their eyes closed. It's time to AWAKEN and to realize that our FAITH is in the ONE who is within: and that one is sometimes confused with self- maybe rightly so.
