subject: Use Pictures To Make Your Catalogs More Interesting [print this page]

They say 9 out of 10 marketing executives state that one of the most important features that an effective catalog printing has are the pictures "" a lot of them. So what does that got to do with your cheap catalog printing? It just goes to show the importance of having lots of great looking pictures to ensure that your catalogs will ever sell anything to your target clients.

But it is not just about putting plenty of pictures in your print catalog. What really matters is how you get people and consumers to be interested and feel excited about your products and services. That"s why you not only include interesting photos and appealing content to bring to life your design and layout; more importantly, you have to use effects to add more to their impact.

Drop shadows, border edges, overlapping pictures, elements extending off the pages "" these are just a few of the things you can add to your catalog printing to give them more edge over the others already found in the market. These are the extras to make your print catalogs get ahead of your competition.

Similar product pictures on a page for example, would need to have additional elements to bring them to life. It is definitely boring to see so many products being offered in one page having the same photos and sizes. None of them will stand a chance to get noticed and your target readers will just go to the next page or worse, to the next catalog. One way to make an impact with your similar products is to make one of them bigger than the others. Play it up and make sure that this product gets noticed. Once you have grabbed your target clients" attention, it would be easy to make them check out the other products on that page.

Another way to bring your products to life in your print catalog is to use people to demonstrate how your products are used. If you have an RTW catalog, models wearing your clothes would make an amazing transformation to your products. Most people often prefer to buy from a person offering the products than to a catalog that is dead to the eyes.

So bring your catalogs to life. Make them into what your target clients are looking for. Don"t be boring and unexciting. The more people who get interested in what you have to offer, the more chances you have of selling your products in your catalog.
