subject: Euphoric And Psychedelic Pills: Like Going To A Happy Place [print this page]

Euphoria is medically recognized as a mental and emotional state defined by a sense of great and usually exaggerated elation and well-being. Although technically euphoria is an effect, the term is often colloquially used to define emotion as an intense state of transcendent happiness combined with an overwhelming sense of happiness.

The word euphoria derives from a Greek word which means "power of enduring easily, fertility". It is a term that is often used to describe a feeling of complete and utter satisfaction, although the feeling can be very subjective. Euphoria is generally considered to be exaggerated, resulting from an abnormal psychological state.

This abnormal psychological state can be achieved with or without the use of psychoactive drugs and can sometimes be achieved during the normal course of human experience. It has been observed that some natural behaviors, such as activities resulting in orgasm or the triumph of an athlete, can induce brief states of euphoria. Euphoria has also been cited during certain religious or spiritual rituals and intense meditation.

The use of psychoactive drugs in order to achieve a euphoric state is prohibited in many countries around the world. However, there are forms of psychoactive substances such as psychedelic pills that can be legally procured. A psychedelic pill is a form of psychoactive drug that induces a state of altered perception.

The primary action of any psychedelic pill is to affect the users cognitive and perceptive capabilities. Psychedelic pills are thought to disable the brain's filtering ability to selectively prevent certain perceptions, emotions, memories and thoughts from ever reaching the conscious mind. The psychedelic experience is often compared to uncommon forms of consciousness such as trance, meditation, yoga, and dreaming.

Alternative and legal forms of recreational drugs have begun appearing on the scene because of the ban on most psychoactive drugs. Many distributors, including those that offer sex pills for sale, have incorporated alternative recreational drugs in their merchandise. These include euphoric and psychedelic pills, party pills, as well as other legal drugs that serve as methamphetamine or ecstasy analogues. There are even places that distribute legal marijuana for medicinal purposes.
