The tower is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. It is one of the most attractive place for tourists to visit. There are 379 steps to go on top of the Qutab minar. Standing on top of the tower will give you an amazing visual experience. It is made up of red sand stones with great carvings and verses from the holy Quran. There is another iron pillar nearby. It is believed that if any person can encircle the entire column with their arms having their back towards the pillar will have their wish accomplished. You must visit this place.
Humayun's Tomb - Humayun's Tomb was built in 1562 AD by the Mughal emperor Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum. The complex was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1993. The construction of building is amazing and symmetrical. The tomb is constructed in the middle of a large square patterned garden. The tomb is built up of rubble masonry, red sandstones and white marbles. It is 47 meters high and 300 feet wide. This is also a must visit place.
