The Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Classes is an autonomous scientific society that works under the Indian Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. Popularly know as DOEACC, this autonomous body is involved in consulting, training, entrepreneurship, product development, and human resource development in information, electronics and communication technologies. Head office based in New Delhi, it's network has spread all across the globe.

The DOEACC Society was formed by the Department of Electronics to implement a scheme of the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), with a view to harness the resources available in the private sector for training in Computers and also to meet the increasing requirements of the trained manpower in the industry.

There are many among us, who were not fortunate enough to undertake engineering qualifications through the engineering colleges, which is the only formal way to earn an engineering degree. But, you can still earn those degrees through non-formal engineering courses like DOEAC, which are recognized by Govt. of India and hence you are eligible for the Govt. and Public Sector jobs as well as for admissions to higher studies.

There is no doubt that DOEACC course is one of the most popular technical courses available today. Apart from an increasing demand of the technical experts, it is perhaps for this reason that there are several DOEACC courses offering institutes that have come up in the education sector.

These institutes have designed the entire program for students who have cleared 10+2. There are five computer courses offered from DOEACC:

1. CCC Certificate Course on Computer Concepts

2. O Level Equivalent to Foundation level course. There are four papers in this level.

3. A Level Equivalent to Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications. There are ten papers in this level.

4. B Level Equivalent to MCA, Master of Computer Applications. For students doing B level after A level, there are fifteen papers, for students doing B level directly, there are 25 papers.

5. C Level M. Tech Level

Enrollment in the course is based on candidate's academic performance as well as on the written test and interview. Up on successful completion of the course, the students easily get placements in the top firms. Below are the fields where they can work as;

* Programmer
