Cellular Jail
Cellular Jail

Renowned as the Asia's biggest jail, Cellular Jail was constructed in the year 1906. It is the place where the British used to send the Indian freedom fighters to be kept in isolation and to be tortured endlessly. This jail is popularly known as 'Kala Pani' (black water) as no prisoner could ever come back alive from this jail.
