Thus, you have to make sure that you are still in the allowed time before transferring your nursing courses. However, there are some things that you can do before transferring your nursing school.

Firstly, you should go to your original school and ask your transcript. You will need this although you are accepted in a new nursing school where you continue your study. You have to make sure that the transcript is correct so that you will have no problem in the future.

Secondly, you should talk to your advisor. For this, you should make an appointment to meet him/her in the new nursing school that you will go. For the meeting, you have to be sure that you have your transcript in your hand. You will be able to discuss the curses that are equivalent with your previous courses. Your advisor will guide you to make a correct decision about the courses. In some cases, you might be required to retake some classes in new school.

Thirdly, you should make a reason why your previous nursing classes should be accepted. To do this, you can get course catalog from the school to get the equivalent substances of the previous course that you have taken. This is done if the courses that you will take do not have the same title or prefix with the courses that you have taken before. Also, you can use the syllabus to show the things that you have learned in your previous courses.

Lastly, you should take the testing from new nursing school that you will go. You will find that you might be tested with the basic coursework that you have got. If you past the test, you will be considered as a student that can grasp the information well. This is especially for you who will take the bachelor degree in nursing. You should try this test if the school where you transfer your study cannot accept the previous courses that you have completed.
