Does your puppy loves to chew your snickers? Does he love to play with your comic collection? Does he love to create mess around the house? Then do not just tolerate such behavior.

When people adopt or buy a puppy, they want it to behave like a trained puppy instantly. They expect these cute creatures to know and do the things they ought to do. They think that puppies, when brought to their new home, would know the things they can and cannot play with.

More often than not, we fall in love with puppies due to their innocent and harmless appearance. They are such cuddly and furry creatures and they look like they cannot do anything harmful. They will just take us by surprise that after a long day at work, and upon reaching your home, you will see that your place is torn apart and there is no other culprit but your cute adorable puppy.

Puppies are playful creatures. They love to play on mostly everything. As a pet owner, you ought to not just let your puppy play by himself. You cannot expect him to know the rules of the house all by himself. It is your responsibility to look after him. If your puppy plays alone, he might end up destroying most of the valuable things in the house and getting hurt.

For you to be able to make sure that your house will look the same way it looked before you left for work, you should manage your new pup. Managing your baby prevents him from tearing your house apart and keeps him safe from harm. You can use managing instruments such as crates, baby gates, leashes and tethers to train your baby.

Before leaving for work, you might put your pup in a crate just to make sure that he will be safe or you can lock him in one of the rooms of the house where there are less number of stuff he can destroy. While spending quality time with your puppy, put him on a leash to ensure that he will not hurt himself and play close attention if he wants to go to the john.

You can enroll your puppy to a basic good manners class for him to know how to properly behave. This will also help you convey your expectations to your pup easily. Learning to manage your new baby will make him safe and happy.
