subject: Clone Yourself And Learn How To Outsource [print this page]

If you, like me, have been around the internet marketing scene for a while, you might have already heard about the newest development: It's called outsourcing. It basically means that you find other people to help you with the immense workload any good internet marketer has to deal with on a daily basis.

Let's think about it, if you are running your business by yourself you have got to come up with an idea about which product to tackle next, then write articles and submit them to various article directories, produce videos and submit those, write blogs, keep on top of your social networking, write messages to the people on your list, write auto-responders, potentially send invoices, keep on top of your accounts, tax & payroll, go to seminars and networking events to find potential new JV partners.

Also, let's not forget that you will need to do a lot of reading, like other people's blogs and articles and emails from the guru's you follow... and I am sure you could find lots more things that need doing on a regular or even daily basis in order to keep on top of your game.

If you have been working in this sector for a while you know that being a marketer is not an easy job as such. It's demanding, it needs you to be ahead of the game if you want to make good money, it requires a lot of discipline and most importantly, you need to be able to see the big picture. Don't let anybody tell you that being an internet marketer is easy. Also, I have heard some of the internet guru's say before that 'Anybody can do it', but I am telling you that in my opinion this is just not the case at all.

Not everybody has the attributes necessary - as mentioned above - to be an internet marketer and I believe that there are some people who are better suited to stay in their job. But then there are people who fit the profile perfectly, but for some reason or other they haven't got enough time available and because of the time constraints, things just seem too overwhelming? You've got to try outsourcing.

Play to your strength and find people who you can outsource the things to you haven't got time for or are not good at or just don't want to do. If you, like me, find it difficult to produce youtube videos, but recognize that they are a must for your marketing strategy, then find somebody who likes making them and so on.

One thing I am currently considering is to give all my affiliate marketing to a guy in the Philippines. He already writes for other people, but quite honestly, I could use him full time and I believe that the $400 a month I'd have to pay him in order to work just for me, he will make back in no time. And in just a few months from now, he will pay for himself plus make me a profit.

And what would stop me taking on a second person to do exactly the same? Once I have a few people working for me I will most definitely hire a project manager and then I am finally free to do what I really want to do and produce my first product!

I strongly believe that outsourcing is the way forward.
