Basic Qualification

You must have a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or an equivalent qualification in English, Mathematics and Science. To qualify for teaching jobs in Leicester, you should have at least a Grade-C or above. You do not need to complete any other teacher training course like Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Training

If you wish to complete your Initial Teacher Training (ITT), you have to apply to the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR). Applications are accepted by early September.
