subject: Perrelet Moonphase Titanium Watch [print this page] Swiss Watch Maker Perrelet has enriched its Titanium collection with a cool-looking moonphase watch-ref.A5000/2 this year. Personally, I think this is one of the most attractive moonphase watches created in recent years. Not like mainstream moonphase watches, it comes with a subtle sporty touch.
The case, made from light-weight and durable titanium, is 43.5mm at diameter. The dial features a large moon phase indication disc in the center zone. The disc contains two orb indicctors, simple constellation style decor and a semi-circular window. The style here a bit rough yet impressive. Another attractive design is the piano-key-like hour markers that has been coated with luminous material. The central hands include a date hand that work with the date ring to tell the current date.Overall, the dial has lots of lovely elements that make the watch a unique timepieces.
Housing inside the watch is the Perrelet P-211 automatic movement that animates all functions displayed on the dial. Completed the watch is a sporty rubber strap in black color.
In my opinion, the watch, with a clear sporty touch, is a nice addition to the Perrelet's Titanium collection. The price will be between $5,500 - $6,350
For those who love traditional looking watch, the Perrelet Moonphase Titanium Watch also has two relatives-the ref. A1036/6 and A1039/7. The two models have the same classic case but made from stainless steel. And they are a bit smaller with a diameter at 42mm. The dial, with similar designs at the titanium model, is available in black and silver. They are fitted with classic alligator leather straps. And their prices are a bit lower than that of the titanium model.
