Over the past several months of this economic correction-when there's a lot of instability, a lot of softening of the market-a lot of people are getting hurt, or getting cut back, or sales are down. All of that's true.

So I've given out more than my usual amount of advice on how to adapt to these things. Because so often I'm talking about making it, how to adapt. What do you do? Well, you go back to basics. You start doing the things that you did there originally that made you successful.

You find something that people in today's market still want and need, and have money to spend on it that they're willing to spend. You find a way to provide it creatively, you find a way to make yourself unique, you find a way to make a profit on it.

And BINGO, the formula. Hopefully you've got something that's residual that you can do again. You deliver first, you overdeliver. All these things.

And it all bears the mark of one thing. Granted, we are in an economic correction. The deceit, the deception, the destruction that has gone on-and this is really bad, too, I'm an American. America, the leader of the world, the Mighty Omnipotent, the people who know everything!

You know what they did. This economic correction was not uncaused; and Madoff is a good example. It was caused. We are in it. Those are facts.

But it all bears the mark of one thing. It all comes down to this one thing-the changes that you make, as an individual with what you have under your control, are going to be more important, and have more effect, on your individual prosperity, life plan, wealth, income, and family than anything that happens outside, than anything they do.

Hey, I realize that if you live inside Washington, D.C., if you live and work inside the Beltway, then you're pretty involved. But you know, there's a whole 'nother part of America living out there. You could join them. You could become a creative entrepreneur, doing what we've talked about.

Ask NOT what you want to sell, ask what your market wants to buy! Find a way to deliver it where you make a good profit. Distinguish yourself; find a way to convince people to purchase it from you residually. Deliver more than you ever have before.

YOU are the factor in your life and affairs that can make your life fantastic! In any economy!
