You are playing more than just a run of the mill football video game, when you play PS3 and Xbox Madden 10. A wholly immersive experience in gaming is PS3 and Xbox Madden 10. So realistic is the game play that you will have difficulty remembering that this is merely a video game. The multiple cutscenes, with shots of the coaches on the sidelines, a new consideration to detail bring that in sports video games we have never witnessed, up until this moment in time.

Just one more ingredient in PS3 and Xbox Madden 10 that will leave football video game fans wildly impressed with the overall presentation is the Halftime and Postgame show, a recap of highlights hosted by the always dependable Alex Flanagan. But merely icing on the cake are those features, as great as they are. PS3 and Xbox Madden 10 has provided some of the best sports video game action the video game world has ever witnessed as far as a football video game goes. And that is why, if they learn all the tricks and techniques to a winning game, most gamers know that they can blow everyone away.

One of the simplest, yet most effective defense tools in PS3 and Xbox Madden 10 is taking out your rival with the perfect hit stick. There is probably nothing more gratifying in PS3 and Xbox Madden 10 than thwarting your opponent when he has the ball by knocking him down to the ground with a perfectly executed hit stick. So, you have got two options, naturally. You can either hit your man high, or hit him low, depending on the situation. If you want to hit your rival low, wait until the very second that he is in range, then just flick the right stick down. However, if you have a sense that your opponent will try and jump your hit stick attempt, you will need to be a bit more cagey, and hit them high. Do this by flicking the right stick up, just at the precise moment. The hit stick is a great tool, but bear in mind that this is not exactly what one would call a foolproof method. Some of your bigger, tougher opponents will mow you down flat. So, when employing the hit stick in PS3 and Xbox Madden 10, just make sure you are not outmatched.

The Screen Pass is an important maneuver to learn when playing offense. From many different formations this one can be ran, each with varying degrees of effectiveness. You will be able to find the formation that works most effectively for you, with a little experimentation and plenty of practice. In any case, when setting this one up the first thing you'll want to do is to add some extra blockers, either a fullback or tight end. Just select the position, press the Y button, then the Right Trigger. Also, as the Screen Pass is much more effective when playing against formations such as the Nickel Cover 3, or when he's going for the blitz, make sure you know what defense your opponent is going to run. So, as soon as the ball is snapped, make sure to back up your QB, then when you have given ample time for your men to set the screen up and the moment is right, toss the ball over to your halfback. Wait until your blockers are in place before throwing, otherwise all of your hard work will be for naught -- just do not throw the ball too soon. Get a grasp of these moves you will, and many others, in PS3 and Xbox Madden 10, with some practice. Worth it, the practice is, as you will soon find yourself flustering your opponents in any and all challenges, whether going one-on-one, or in a PS3 and Xbox Madden 10 tournament.
