The cold, winter season and the upcoming, festive holiday season brings with it a myriad of problems plus opportunities on how to wear clothes with flair. Wearing layers of clothing, and oversized frumpy sweaters is not ones idea of fashion and style. Here are several tips to consider as guide for deciding on the right look this white Christmas:

Go against the frumpy, boring and oversized clothes. For instance, Angora sweaters are a no-no, because they make the body look big and billowy. Opt to use cashmere sweaters instead. Cardigans have also become boring as well. It has no shape, no creativity and no say in the world of fashion and style. A well-structured coat, with its smooth architecture of clean, cut line stitching and interesting details is more suitable choice. Just make sure that it does not overwhelm you with its length, and extra skirt dangle should fall only a few centimeters in length. Another option is wearing blazers. They provide nice proportions to the body, they are versatile with both casual and formal wear, and they give the illusion of sexiness. Blazers must fall a few inches below the waist. Too long is out-moded, too short is so last season.

Make a statement and dare for the unexpected. If you feel bold and you think you can stand the cold, why not show your legs and calves under those hot skirts? You will give people a second look, and even an eyeful seeing that long, smooth skin on your perfect pair of stems. Another way to make heads turn is to go blond this season. Its a refreshing color that cuts through the shades of black and grey winter coats this season. Let it down, and make maximum impact by wearing a bright and bold color such as red or burgundy, with matching red lipstick. Santa will surely want to kiss you under the mistletoe.

Dont forget your footwear. Heels and boots are perfect for the chilly weather, and they also go well with socks underneath. Instead of getting that regular pedicure, why not let your toenails breathe in the cold air this season? Have them properly trimmed, buffed and moisturized, and you will be surprised to feel the refreshing cool temperature just between your toes. Avoid embarrassing foot infections and learn how to get rid of yellow toenails or yellow toe by visiting your local podiatrist.About the Author:
