Ted is thrown into concerns over his own future when his two best friends Marshall and Lily plan to tie the knot, thereon, he gets into his own quest to seek for his better half. Interestingly, he lands up being friends with Barney a non-committal womanizer.
Here begins the fun ride as Ted hooks up with one woman after other and all the time getting into tight stops generating some seriously comic situations. The narration unfolds, as the future Ted keeps relating to his past.
