Now, why might you want a guitar wall hanger? I mean, even if they are inexpensive, after you start buying them their costs add up, right? And of course, if you trip and fall over an instrument and hurt yourself, you may get mad enough to kick it or slam it on purpose. Once you have enough guitar or bass clutter going on, you may even discover that it's getting harder to find the instrument you want.
All in all, guitars all over the place doesn't look cool. It looks sloppy. It's just cool that you have those guitars.
Alright, you say, well, I can just prop my guitar up against the wall or against my amp. Bad move. You surely know how easy it is for the slightest vibration to knock that thing over, possibly marring or breaking it. And I hope you don't have any pets, or children, that like to roam through the house.
Fine, fine, you say. Then why don't I buy guitar stands for my instruments? You can do that, and it's not a bad idea. However, guitar stands are more expensive than guitar wall hangers, and they are also much more suited to the stage setting. They take up more space than guitar wall hangers, and they keep the guitars lower to the ground, once again leaving them susceptible to spills, accidental kicks, pets, and children.
With a guitar wall hanger, you save money as compared to the guitar stand. Then there is the fact that you can mount the wall hanger as high up as you need to to keep your precious instruments out of reach and as much out of harm's way as is feasible.
Guitars that are hung up on you wall are also easier to spatially organize and show off for people. When you go to a guitar shop, you see guitar after guitar hung up in a row, each on a guitar wall hanger.
