One of the most enigmatic sites Anton Valley holds is La India Dormida. The hills of the Anton Valley outline the silhouette of a youthful Indian lady. Based on native stories, this lady fell intensely in love with a Spanish man and wept her misfortune until the surrounding environment took her as its own. Other stories suggest that the Sun turned her into part of the hill to save her from a love that wasn't returned by a haughty Indian fighter from her tribe.
