We are here at the Habitat for Humanity project on the Bale Street Townhomes, and we are here with one of our Metro Brokers volunteers, Joan Cox. Joan, welcome to the show.
Joan Cox: Thank you.
Interviewer: How is everything going so far?
Joan Cox: It's pretty good, it's encouraging, it's exciting to be a part of something that we can give back to our community.
Interviewer: You bet. So, what are you doing today what kind of work are you involved with?
Joan Cox: Painting, we are painting, we are painting primer all over the house.
Interviewer: So, do you have experience in painting, have you done a lot of painting?
Joan Cox: No.
Interviewer: You've base in your hands, base in your hands?
Joan Cox: But it's exciting, it's fun to be amongst actually some of the potential home owners, too, and to hear their stories.
Interviewer: Yeah, very interesting now, have you volunteered before with the Habitat or this is your first time?
Joan Cox: My first time.
Interviewer: Great. So, tell us about your company with Metro Brokers. Is it your company or you are broker associate or how long have you been with Metro?
Joan Cox: I have been with Metro 14 years and I was fortunate up in '09 to open my own company called "House to Home," so I am an independent broker.
Interviewer: Fantastic. Well, Metro Brokers counts on a lot of people just like yourself being involved in lot of our volunteer effort, so we appreciate you being here today, you are doing a great job.
