Now this is one piece of bling tech that we could all do without - a Gucci Diamond Phone from China that comes coated in gold, how apt for a handset! You get the Gucci emblem plastered on all sides, a 2.1? 16 million color QVGA display, an integrated FM radio, a 2 megapixel camera, and a microSD memory card slot. It comes in a (naturally) fake Gucci box as well as a certificate of authenticity - how ironic! If I was to see this picture before Prada begun working with LG on the LG Prada handset, I wouldn't have given it the slightest chance of being related to something that might get out on the mobile market. However, after we have all seen what a collaboration between a fashion house and a mobile phone manufacturer could produce, I'm not at all surprised to see such a photo that hints us about Gucci Cell Phone taking its first into the mobile world. As you can see for yourself, this is not an actual real product because it definitely has the looks of a 3D render. Despite this fact, one can imagine very easily what will the end product look and behave like if it will not suffer a lot of changes compared to what we can see in these pictures. The handset will obviously fit in the same category as the LG Prada, the Samsung F700 and the iPhone, due to its obvious lack of any mechanical interface like keyboard, joystick or anything similar. I don't quite get what that big cylinder we can see in the lower part of the device is supposed to be: it could be a microphone although it is quite large to act as such but it could also be a fabric keyboard of some sort for the ones that do not like to use the touchscreen interface provided by the handset (this is just a very far fetched guess so don't start complaining about my over active imagination please). Despite all the mystery surrounding these two pictures that don't seem to have an official source related to the name behind the brand appearing on its case, there are lots of chances that these photos could actually have something to do with a project Gucci is working on. Obviously, the design company will not start working on such a task by itself without having any kind of experience of luxury phones manufacturing so a joint-venture with a mobile phone manufacturer is 100% sure (in case the pictures will prove to be true). For now though, there is no information regarding such a collaboration with any of the big names in the mobile market so we will just have to wait for more info regarding this subject. http://www.luxcellphone.com Article source: http://www.luxcellphone.com/blog/?p=8 candy-plm.ltd About the Author:
