When it comes to manastones and Assassin it is actually very simple; while many other classes can focus on different stats, Assassin should focus on increasing their damage per hit. The best way to increase your damage is to increase your Physical Crit. Rate, so focus on getting Physical Crit. Manastones and raise your crit. rate to at least 350 - 400. If you can do more, feel free to do so. Keep in mind that Physical Crit. manastones are rare, and are in high demand, so they can be expensive to buy. If you have some, do not waste them on regular white gears, or any gear that you not planning to use for long.
After physical Crit, I personally suggest you focus on Attack manastones. The highest attack is +5 green manastones, which will drastically increase your damage.
There are debates on whether to use Evasion manastones or not; if you have some extra stocked and want to increase your evasion, it would come in handy as well. Other optional manastones you can use are + HP, and Magical Resist, however you can not find magical resist manastones at low level. Keep in mind that this is just a basic guideline, you can always play around with manastones and find the best fit between evasion, attack, and crit.
