subject: What's Your New Year's Resolution? by Christian Goodman [print this page] Author: Christian Goodman Author: Christian Goodman
You should have enjoyed a day of fun this holiday with your family and friends. This is if you are just like me. We do not cook a feast often do we? you would also tempted to feast yourself during the holidays. The worst case scenario is even though we are not cooking we are made to eat whatever the relatives have cooked. It's also a fact that food isn't the only problem we face in maintaining health. It's such a busy and stressful time of year when trying to budget for presents, getting our kids to their extracurricular events and finishing up priorities at work. Most of the times these things create problem in our health. Do we find time to exercise each day? Do we remember the appointment we had with the doctor or you took the prescribed medicine on time? This what I hear most of the time from people recently "I don't want to be sick." It may be that people do not have the time to rest or they do not want to lose money by resting. But one should remember that the end result is bad health. This is the reason why I recommend new year resolutions. I do recommend each and every people to form a new year resolution. Planning is also very important. Most people fail to follow their resolution because they do not plan whether it may be to stop smoking , losing weight and daily exercise. You don't decide to take a cross-country trip and then just get in your car and go do you? For the logical person, the answer is "no." We take our car in to the repair shop and get a health check, repairing any mechanical issues before we start our trip. In addition, we intimate our office about taking leave so that our absence don't create problem for others. We also pack relatively to the weather and also we make our plans during nice weather conditions. This is exactly what we need to do when we are attempting to improve our health. Yes, agreeing that a change is needed is a hugely important step but it's not the only one. Practicality, while not as much fun, is just as important. Also important is realizing that change is a process. If you slip and miss a day of exercise or over eat, you don't have to quit your plan. It's not ruined - go back over your plan and point out "lessons learned" to help ensure success down the road. Most new year resolutions of many people will be to lose weight , to stop snoring and reducing blood pressure. These are very important that we do not ignore this as these are called "Silent Killers" Many people to do not realize this danger till they get permanently affected. Many others though, are currently living in pain. Whether its neck pain, headache and migraine, fibromyalgia, TMJ, acid reflux or vertigo, people with these conditions can't help but be reminded (every day in some cases) that they have a health issue. For most of the people the physicians reply that it's just a mental thing Or that there is no solution available for this problem. The best that was done is to prescribe medicines, which will bring in very serious side effects. Most of the times these medications do not bring cure or some time even though they bring cure the side effects will very painful to tolerate. My programs do not have any medicines to take. This is what makes me to be proud of my programs. Moreover, they do not bring in any side effects and has proven results. My programs are simple breathing exercises which are easy to do.
