I divorced with my ex-husband five years ago. Life was difficult to a single mother who had to take care of her little girl. My relatives and friends had asked me to find another guy who could take care of us so as to release my burden, but I was afraid that the guy I found might not be a good father, which might hurt my girl further. One day, after a busy day of work as usual, I came back, tired and exhausted. She told me that her teacher asked them to write a composition named My Father, and she had no idea how to write. I was unable to say a word, and tears ran down from my cheeks. It was then that I made up my mind to find her a new Daddy and give her a normal life.
I accepted my friends advice and began dating with the guy she introduced to me. He was born ordinary, but he was so considerate a guy. Sometimes, we would take my daughter out, and he would play a role of the good father. Seeing my daughter laughing happily, I felt happy from the bottom of my heart.
We often went to different exhibitions, some were about pictures and some were about jewelries. I remembered once I was taken to a Cartier jewelry show, where a lot of elegant and shining Cartier jewelries were on display. I was totally fancies by those shining objects, for they were so beautiful and fashionable that I was unable to move my eyes away from them.
He noticed it, but he didnt say a word. That day, after dinner, he proposed me with a beautiful Cartier ring, which he secretly bought when I was ordering the dishes, saying that he would like to protect me and my daughter the rest of his time heart and soul. I was totally moved, and the shining Cartier ring was just like the unchanging love he presented to me. Whats more, my daughter had told me that she would like his to be her new father. So I accepted the ring.
