The urgency to actually bring your company to its highest point through their own strategies is a walk in the park but the way to allow them full autonomy can sometimes appear a little alarming. Well, it has its ups and downs since when you give them the power, they may abuse it.

The sense of authority should always be present but let it appear that they are not being taken aback by your presence. Let them decide for you since the reason they were hired in the first place is to give you new inputs as to how to achieve your forecasts for the month or year. Value these efforts and you will learn how to motivate others based on their performance. It should be a fair race so appreciate their actions.
