Everyone needs protein to support growth and recovery. That is just common knowledge. Some people suggest that healthy diet is able to supply all the protein the body needs. Different variety of meat such as chicken offers good amount of protein. Unless you carefully assess your daily protein intake, there is no guarantee you'll get enough nutrients. For hardcore bodybuilders, whey protein is a dependable source of high quality protein.

For optimum performance, you need to know your goal and be clear about it. Browse around and gain some knowledge to make informed decisions. But once you are on training, refrain from switching from one technique to another. Focus on your goal and become serious with it. Don't get sidetracked often. It will determine how far you will go with your training.
