subject: How To Motivate Others [print this page]

Have you ever experienced going to the office very happy yet losing your good mood because someone there is experiencing a bad hair day? One's mood is easily affected by someone else's behavior. However happy you are, when you see someone who is being negative, you will likely get affected in the same way that if you are not in a very good mood, somebody with a happy disposition can also perk you up. This goes true with the feeling of being motivated. If you are surrounded by people who are motivated in doing things, you will most likely be motivated as well. You can also apply the same principle if you want to motivate others. Let them see and feel that you are motivated and most likely the feeling will also rub off on them.

How exactly do you show others that you are motivated? Here are some simple tips on how to motivate others.

1. Show that you are enjoying what you are doing. A person who enjoys what he does is a motivated person. On the other hand, a person who always sulks and complains is probably unmotivated anymore.

2. Make sure that you do your responsibilities well. Motivated people do not settle for mediocre work. Make sure you give your best in doing all the tasks assigned to you.

3. At the end of a tiring activity, smile. A person who can still find reason to smile even after a draining day is probably a motivated person.

4. Find time to relax after doing a particular task. If a person allows himself to unwind and spend time with friends, it must mean that he is motivated.

If you want others to be motivated, do the suggestions given here. They will surely see and know how good it is to do things if you are properly motivated.
