I have to admit that I am not a girl who pays special attention to politics, so most of the time, I have no idea what is happening around the world and who is popular in the political field. So it is not until recently when I see a picture of Sarah Palin on a website that I begin to realize that this American politician, who served as Governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009 and who was the Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States in 2008, wears a pair of rimless glasses.
In the picture, she appeared so elegant and confident, and with a pair of rimless glasses, she appeared learned and well-educated. I am a university student, and more than once have I been advised by my friends to have my glasses changed. In their opinion, the pair of full-framed glasses I have always been wearing is so out of fashion that nobody other than me would be willing to wear it out.
I didnt care before, but now, seeing Sarah Palin smiling graciously in the picture, I suddenly feel it so good buying a pair of rimless glasses. I often feel uncomfortable wearing the full-framed glasses for a long time, for it is so heavy and it gives much pressure to the bridge of my noise. I also have friends who wear contact lens. But it turns out to be a problem that they often find it a long and hard time trying to wear the contact lens and long-time wearing makes their eyes feel uncomfortable.
And now, the rimless glasses seem to be a better choice, for they are fancy in design, rich in color and comfortable when wearing. Whats more, people who wear rimless glasses often find that they have a broader view than that of wearing a full-framed one. And compared with full-framed glasses, they often feel less pressure on their eyes and the bridge of their noise.
Not knowing when, the rimless glasses have suddenly become a fashion, not only among our common students, but also among those political and business people.
