subject: Fiat Target Football Fans With Their Latest Competition [print this page] It looks as though Fiathave tried to get in on the football buzz in the lead up to the World Cup by launching their football-related competition.
In an effort to try and get more customers to book a service, MOT or air conditioning service they have set up a footy-related deal. Every customer that books one of the three services from now until 30th June this year will be entered into a prize draw and have the chance of winning a Nintendo Wii and the new Fifa World Cup 2010 game.
Each dealership that participates in the competition will give away the prize in July.
As the World Cup draws ever closer we will no doubt see more football-themed competitions and incentives launch. Companies will use World Cup fever to their advantage as a way to attract fans. Kia are the official sponsors of the 2010 World Cup so look out for football-themed campaigns from them too.
Football is a great way to attract customers attention as it seems to unite millions of people any competition that offers free football tickets will always generate plenty of publicity
There are other football-related prizes on offer at Fiat too so keep an eye out.
A while back Citroen also used Football as a pull to attract people to view their new Citroen C4 they painted it in Arsenal FCs colours and branded it as the ultimate Arsenal fans car. It was auctioned off several times and certainly got the motoring manufacturer lots of attention for the launch of their new Citroen C4.
