The first passion of Jack Johnson was surfingThe first passion of Jack Johnson was surfing. Professional At the age of 17 he made in school that the film and wrote songs for his pleasure. His talent as a filmmaker and composer is revealed during the filming of "Thicker Than Water" documentary about the surfing world. The film was awarded "Video of the Year" by Surfer Magazine in 2000 and Ben Harper offers his talents as a guitarist for lalbum "Brushfire Fairytales" after hearing demos of Jack Johnson. Promoted at dune tour with Ben Harper, "On and On" was followed in 2003.

Jack began surfing the universally revered and feared Pipeline at age 10. By 17, he made the finals at the Pipe trials, becoming the youngest invitee ever to do so at the world's most prestigious surfing event. Unfortunately, Jack suffered a near death experience at age 17 after crashing his body into the reef during the Pipeline Masters.

Jack Johnson back on the wave of concerts! Two years after the "Sleep Through The Static Tour", the surfer and singer prodigy again travel through the planet with a world tour which starts in Berlin on next June 16th. Shortly, before he will release another studio album on his own label Brushfire Records.

For this tour, Jack Johnson and his band will give one concert in France. It will be June 23rd, 2010 at the Zenith in Paris. People there has already started talking about the concert but tickets are not available yet.

The singer-songwriter pop-folk acoustic will distill his new songs in preparation. "Jack and his band, Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski, and Zach Gill returned to the Mango Tree studio to record their sixth album. They have worked tirelessly," said Jack Johnson.

About his last album, Johnson said "I have three children, so the album covers that. This is me as a son of my father and I watch over my own children. I am 34 years old. I'm still in transition. I still sometimes feel like a child. At other times, I feel like a father and I found the dad in me. It deals with all this, "
