HDMI Extender: No more Limitations to HDMI Extension

Operating on plug and play functionality, they are a substitute to HDMI cable, since they use inexpensive Cat5e / Cat6 cable to achieve long distance transmission. These extenders support HDMI or DVI inputs and are HDCP compliant. These devices are also equipped with the regulatory approvals from FCC & CE. The extender basically consists of two units, a local transmitter unit and a remote receiver unit. The local transmitter is placed next to the HDMI source and the remote receiver is placed next to the remote LCD monitor. If a user wishes to extend HDMI signals to long distances without distorting the images, the HDMI extender is the perfect choice.
