Search engine optimization : The expert advice

This one is confusing. The reason, is because although the reality is that it is indeed a false statementtypically, if you do this one right, it does in fact lead to solid rankings. Here's the confusing part: it's not the good content that got you that great ranking, but rather, the organic growth using the proper methods without stacking that probably got you thereso it's not really one in the same. The content may deserve to be ranked, but if no one knows about it, or if the site architecture is so atrocious that it repels the spiders, then it won't rank. It's as important to actively promote that great content as to have created it. To reference the old Field of Dreams line (yes, we're going there) "Build it and they will come" is bogus on the web. They won't even know it' exists. Please don't write us angry letters now either telling us that we suggested you write bad content, or state that we advised you that good content doesn't matter. I'm just saying, it isn't going to equal the "great rankings". Good content is a prerequisite for SEO success, especially when the keywords being targeted are highly competitivebut so are about 50 other things. Ask one of our search engine optimization specialists, or web design techs about how a proper foundation can establish your site.
