The Statue was designed by Frederic Bartholdi and shipped to America in the year 1884 after 14 years of hard labor. The complete structure of the statue is 305 feet tall from ground and length of the index finger alone is 8 foot. The Statue of Liberty structure was completed and dedicated for public in the year 1886. It is a magnificent sight to look from anywhere around it and appears more wonderful from the air.
