Petchburi Road may seem like a congested area, but many of Bangkok's nightlife spots appear in small pockets here, along with hip hotels and guesthouses. Amari Atrium Bangkok is a walking distance from the main Sukhumvit drag, but far enough to get away from the entire touristy Sukhumvit scene. The Ecotel Bangkok is a super clean hotel, just opposite the Ramada and Bangkok Palace. The rooms at the Ramada D'MA are clean and well kept, and the swimming pool is great with an excellent view of Bangkok. Bangkok Hotels in Petchburi Road are ideal for leisure travelers since they are near the main commercial and shopping district of Sukhumvit Road, and 25 minutes away from the airport.
