subject: Naples Suzuki Grand Vitara Is Great For Some Off-roading Beach Adventures [print this page]

Outdoorsmen know whats upOutdoorsmen know whats up. You have to have a powerful ride when youre hitting the country, whether youre in the backwoods or out on the open road. This past weekend, I went on an off-roading trip of my own, and I have to say that the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara, available for purchase at any Naples Suzuki dealership, makes the perfect vehicle for this kind of adventure. In an off-roading beach adventure, the Grand Vitara performs like a truck in a market dominated by SUVs that drive like cars.

We took ours out into the wilderness for a mixed woodland and beach journey. After loading up the truck with some plenty of food, beer and camping equipment, we hit the back roads and wandered our way into the country, where Naples Suzuki Grand Vitara dealers had assured us our vehicle would perform the strongest. Guess what? They were right. We took this baby out onto some dirt roads, revved the engine and got her going up to breakneck speeds, and she was handling turbulence with the best of them. Even after walking out of our Naples Suzuki dealership, we were a little skeptical about the Grand Vitaras abilities on the back roads but she held true and aimed to impress.

Id taken the old Grand Vitara out for a test-run in the past, but she hadnt really lived up to the challenge. Back in previous iterations, the Grand Vitara featured a 2.7-liter V6 that put out a total 185 horsepower. But now, things have gotten quite a bit better for Naples Suzuki Grand Vitara drivers. The optional 3.2-liter V6 pumps out 230 horsepower, giving the Grand Vitara the edge it needs for a solid off-roading experience. And, as I mentioned earlier, the Grand Vitara drives much more like a truck than a car, making it one of the more solid off-roading small SUVs of its kind, a fact that your Naples Suzuki dealership is extremely proud of.

The dirt roads were just the first test for us. We took this baby out into the wilderness, following some twisting trails through the forest to our camping spot. Moguls, bumps and hills were no match for the Naples Suzuki Grand Vitara, which powered around corners and up hills with the precision advertised to us when we first purchased it. The only negative result was the car could certainly use a washing after we were done with it.

When you are following a forest trail, you need handling, precision and durability, among other things. The Grand Vitara turned out to be a wonderful off-roading car, handling like a dream with the dependability you might expect from a solid pickup. If youre dying for a great camping trip, the Grand Vitara is a great car to have with you. Its big enough to offer a good amount of cargo room and passenger space but small enough to handle tight spaces on forest trails.

Head down to your local dealership when you get a chance to give her a test-drive.
