Most POS Machines are also connected to remote connection and the data in a grocery or in a restaurant can be sent to either a laptop or a web based database. All the products would be registered through the POS system with the use of a serial code which would be passed to a sensor. The prices of commodities can also be changed either through a remote connection or through the database.
