subject: Bonita Springs Buick Dealership Can See Why Motor Trend Magazine Chose The Lacrosse Cxs Over [print this page]

Motor Trend magazine experts took the new 2010 Buick Lacrosse CXS for a spin, followed by the Lexus ES 350, to see which luxury sedan could actually live up to the great ride it claims offer. The results? Well lets just say the Bonita Springs Buick dealership wasnt a bit surprised when the experts overwhelmingly chose the Lacrosse. For after all, these are not the Buick used cars Naples residents drive. No, these are the Buicks of the 21st century.

When Buick engineers went to their design boards for the 2010 Lacrosse CXS they clearly kept in mind why people buy Buicks in the first place: the size. Not all drivers are buying into this new-age compact business and Buick personal made a point to continue to please those drivers who like to feel a bit more in-control when on the roads. Thus, Buick outdid its competitor Lexus by inches. The Lacrosse CXS is 5.9 inches longer, 1.4 inches wider, and 2.1 inches taller than its rival the ES 350. Impressed? Well there is more; most importantly, the design team at Buick created 4.6 more inches of rear knee-room in the Lacrosse than exists in the ES 350. Now, feel free to be impressed.

Under the hood, the Lacrosse CXS and the ES 350 are fairly similar. They both own a 3.5 liter V6 engine with six speed automatic transmission. However, the Buick does give drivers slightly more horsepower at 280, compared with the Lexus 272. This translates into a respectable 17 mpg city driving for the rather large Buick and 27 mpg while on the highway. And to save you just a few more pennies, Buick engineers made sure the Lacrosse could handle regular gas. The Lexus on the other hand, can only accommodate premium. Who wants to pay $3 a gallon for gas?

The handle and ride of the Lacrosse is also superior to the ES 350. The Lacrosse shuts out outside noise better than the ES. In fact, the Bonita Springs Buick Dealership told the Motor Trend car experts that the Lacrosse was tested in GMs vaunted wind tunnel and came out as the quietest car ever. In addition, the Buick also has better traction control, especially on winding, coastline roads. The Buick model also makes everyday errand running easier thanks to its superb turning radius.

Just in case all of the above facts havent been enough to convince you that the Buick Lacrosse CXS is a superior buy to the Lexus ES 350, there is one more tidbit which will likely be the deciding factor: cost. Once again, the Buick wins with a base price of just $33,765. The Lexus starts at over $36,000, but can quickly climb in price when the most basic extras are added. Thus, in the head-to-head matchup between the Lexus 350 ES and the Buick Lacrosse CXS the Buick is the clear champion.

So what models are next for a head-to-head car battle? The most popular used cars Naples sees might be an interesting fight: a used Lexus versus a used Buick? Any bets on the winner? Hint: the odds are with the Buick.
